Description: JOB TYPE: Full Time, Route Type: Local (Hours: 6/7am-3:30pm)POSITION SUMMARY: Drivers will deliver finished building components such as trusses, floor panels and wall panels. Position involves physical labor as drivers are responsible for loading, checking, securing and delivering loads. Our drivers are home daily and off on the weekends other than on rare occasions.-- Hourly base pay-- Drivers are based at the Proffit Road location but travel daily to make local deliveries.Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Delivering building components to include loading, securing, and unloading.Reading orders/paperwork and identifying load errorsMaintaining vehicle cleanlinessMaintaining company, D.O.T., and traffic regulationsProviding excellent customer serviceRequirements: Qualifications:Must have a Class A CDL with a clean MVR.Must have a valid non-expired Medical Certification and the ability to obtain annual renewals in correspondence with DOT requirements.Ability to drive in a range of weather and job-site conditions.Ability to drive manual transmission (required).Strong problem-solving skillsStrong customer service skillsEducation and Experience:1 year of CDL driving experienceAt least 6 months of delivery & customer service experiencePhysical Requirements:Drivers must be able to perform physical labor to include loading, unloading, and securing heavy loads.Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, walking and standing are required for this position. Weights range from 25 lbs. to 200 lbs. plus.Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather.Hours are often over 8 hours per day, and any hours worked over 40 per week are paid at 1.5x your hourly rate in accordance with DOL standards.License/Certification:CDL A (Required)Compensation details: 21-28 Hourly WagePI80e0aafe26e7-25660-37286038
