For more information, visit .ITS Vice Presidency Context: The Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU) supports the World Bank Group's mission by delivering transformative information and technologies across over 150 locations. More about ITS can be found in this .ITSBA Context: The ITS Business Administration Department (ITSBA) manages the business of ITS, focusing on IT transformation, governance, risk management, compliance, financial oversight, organizational change, and workforce development. Its key areas include Strategy and Advisory, Governance, Financial Management, Transformation, Workforce Management, Sourcing, and Communication.ITSPE Context: The ITSPE unit ensures alignment of the ITS workforce with the WBG's strategic goals, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, workforce, and workplace management. The Learning and Career Development Analyst will support the talent and learning team operations to achieve these goals, reporting to the ITSPE Manager.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Skills Refresh program, focusing on technical topics, including designing and implementing learning activities following the ADDIE model.
  • Engage stakeholders, including SMEs and Learning Connectors, to ensure relevant and high-quality content.
  • Advise ITS teams and staff on technical learning opportunities and resources.
  • Manage vendors, procurement, and budgets.
  • Act as a backup learning administrator as needed.
  • Manage Research and Advisory services for Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, providing guidance and support to ITS staff.
  • Support initiatives related to ITS Career architecture, jobs, and competency profiles in collaboration with WBG HR teams.
  • Lead and support other projects under ITSPE's strategic areas, including talent management and staff engagement.Selection Criteria
    • Masters' degree in a relevant field with 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.
    • Understanding of Information Technology and landscape.
    • Experience in adult learning principles, instructional design, and familiarity with the ADDIE model.
    • Knowledge of modern learning practices and technologies.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in multicultural environments, and build relationships.
    • Analytical and research skills.
    • Effective project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Experience with learning management tools (OLC/LMS), vendor management, and procurement.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Microsoft O365, and other collaboration tools.Behavioral Competencies
