Eagle Harbor, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Trace Evidence AnalystResponsibilities:--- Performs trace evidence tasks in support of the Trace Evidence UnitTrace evidence typically encompasses the collection and examination of hairs and fibers, and objects made up of hair and fibers (e.g., fabric or cordage) found in or attached to evidence or related materials collected and submitted to the FBI Laboratory for examination.--- Receive and account for boxes of evidence and related materials from the Evidence Management Unit (EMU).--- Visually inspect and process evidence and related materials for trace evidence; photograph evidence and related materials; remove hairs and fibers from evidence and related materials; create microscope slides for hairs and fibers; mount hairs and fibers on slides; and create inventory of slides.--- Record case notes, photographs, chain of custody form(s), electronic communications, and secondary evidence inventory.--- Use eLab software for evidence inventory, tracking, and flow accounting.--- Maintain proper chain of custody of all forensic material under examinationRequirements:--- US Citizen--- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check--- Active (fully adjudicated) Top Secret Clearance--- Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in the natural sciences or a closely related field with at least twenty-four (24) credit hours in the physical or life sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology, or geology).--- Demonstrated ability to study and pass training, examination, and testing assessments.--- Must be able to successfully complete FBI Laboratory Trace Evidence (hairs and fibers) Physical Scientist training and be qualified and authorized to conduct casework.--- Must be able to communicate fluently verbally and in writing, in English, at the bachelor's degree level, be able to understand and execute complex verbal and written instructions in English, be able to express complex issues verbally and in writing in English.--- Must be competent in operating an IBM-style microcomputer in Windows and/or UNiplexed Information Computing System (UNIX) environments.--- Must be able to discuss complex technical issues in English, using a telephone.--- Must be competent with Microsoft Office products in a Windows environment and be competent with computer file management in Windows and/or UNIX environments (creating and deleting files and directories, finding, renaming, copying, and moving files, etc.)Position located at Marine Corps Base, Quantico and Redstone Arsenal, AL Apply at: https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg01/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=GATEWAYVENT&cws=69&rid=3236 VEVRAA Federal Contractor Three Saints Bay, LLC and its subsidiaries offer a diverse, team-oriented working environment and the opportunity to work with exceptional dedicated industry professionalsWe offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to take part in exciting projects with government and commercial clients, both domestic and internationalWe are an EEO/AA employerWe invite resumes from all interested parties without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
