Reporting to the HSEQ manager and the HSE superintendent or the relevant project managers when on site, you will be responsible for all HSE related matters.Responsibilities will include:

• Providing professional advice, support and coaching to the workforce to promote a first-class safety culture,
• Leading by example to ensure the risk/hazard registers are maintained for all facilities,
• Protecting the environment with sustainable practices as part of everyday business, measuring, monitoring and improving productivity, processes and tasks to satisfy company expectations,
• Ensuring activities meet organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety,
• Facilitating a consistent approach to risk management ensuring workers are trained and using risk management tools, including Take 5's and JHA's.
• Ensuring the reporting and recording of all incidents, hazards and near misses,
• Completing incident investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence,
• Conducting regular visits to all areas of responsibility and interacting with the management team and workforce,
• Coaching and providing advice on how best to meet responsibilities and required H&S standards.Position requirements:
  • Hold a HSE tertiary or comparable qualification,
  • Demonstrated HSE experience within a workshop and construction environment,
  • Demonstrated practical experience within a Civil Mining Construction environment,
  • Possess a consultative style and pride yourself on meeting commitments and accepting responsibility,
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word,
  • Experience with Pronto or similar ERP is desired though not essential,
  • Experience in a similar role.What's on offer:
