Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dependable CDL Class A or B Driver to
join our Transportation team, enhancing our mission of leading the
market in environmental, energy, and industrial services across
North America. This role is critical in supporting our commitment
to environmental safety and customer satisfaction by ensuring the
safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials and other
related freight. Working with Clean Harbors means joining a team
dedicated to environmental sustainability and safe industrial
practices, all while navigating the logistical challenges of a
dynamic transportation environment. Operate Class A or B vehicles
in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsible for the safe transport and delivery of hazardous and
non-hazardous materials from pickup to drop-off locations. Perform
routine vehicle inspection and maintenance including checking fluid
levels, cleaning and inspection for damage. Ensure compliance with
hazardous waste regulations and protocols, including proper
labeling, placarding, and log maintenance. Prepare and maintain
transport documents and ensure that all load-related paperwork is
complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Communicate effectively
with dispatch and operations staff to resolve any operational
issues or delays. Strong driving skills and familiarity with
vehicle maintenance and repair Proficient with the use of GPS and
other routing systems Excellent time management to fulfil tight
deadlines Ability to handle physical workload Strong safety
orientation and understanding of hazardous material transportation

Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A or B Driver's License Must
have a clean driving record Hazardous Materials (HazMat)
endorsement or the ability to obtain Department of Transportation
(DOT) medical card
