Position Description: CGI has an immediate need for a Senior
Oracle Technical Lead to join our team. This is an exciting
opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one
of the non-profit organizations that collects, verifies, and
maintains student enrollment and degree data for educational
institutions. The Senior Oracle Technical Lead is responsible for
responsible for providing technical leadership and hands-on
expertise within an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment,
supporting enterprise platforms including Oracle Database, Oracle
WebLogic, Oracle Linux, Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS), and related
middleware. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA or
Knoxville, TN office or Fairfax, VA; however, a hybrid working
model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: This
role leads the design, implementation, optimization, and support of
available, secure, and scalable cloud solutions while guiding
technical teams through complex delivery and operational
initiatives. The Senior Technical Oracle Lead partners closely with
architecture, application, infrastructure, and security teams to
ensure best practices are followed, risks are proactively managed,
and business-critical systems are reliably delivered. Key
Responsibilities . Provide technical leadership for enterprise
platforms and OCI cloud initiatives. . Own technical direction,
design decisions, and solution quality. . Partner with
architecture, security, and delivery leaders to align technology
with business objectives and to ensure platform stability,
resiliency, performance, and security. . Leads vulnerability
remediation efforts across all OCI environments, ensuring risks are
understood, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. . Drive
standardization, automation, and continuous improvement. . Lead
operational processes such as patching cycles and pre/post?patch
health checks across Oracle Databases, ExaCS, WebLogic, and Oracle
Linux environments. . Guide provisioning, configuration, and
lifecycle management of OCI resources, including scripting and
automation frameworks to streamline environment management. .
Support disaster recovery architecture, execution, and annual DR
exercises involving OCI regions and cloud failover scenarios. .
Lead weekly team meetings to track progress, align on objectives,
and coordinate work related to OCI patching and environment
maintenance. . Manages and maintains visibility into tickets
assigned to consultants, ensuring timely completion and providing
regular status updates. . Influence and implement technical best
practices. . Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to
executive stakeholders. . Plan work for the team members. Required
qualifications to be successful in this role: . 8 years of
experience in enterprise infrastructure, middleware, or cloud
environments . Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) . Recent experience supporting oracle cloud
infrastructure such as Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic Server, or
Oracle Linux . Proven technical leadership in cloud-first or hybrid
environments. . Familiarity with automation and scripting tools
(Terraform, WLST, or Bash) . Experience working in Agile and
cross-functional team environments. . Strong communication skills
and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical
stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications . Experience with Exadata
Cloud Service (ExaCS), WebLogic clustering, or OCI
networking/security. . Hands?on experience with cloud automation,
observability, and infrastructure?as?code practices. . Background
in enterprise?scale DR planning, failover processes, and cloud
region recovery. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science,
Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience Other

role. The determination of this range includes various factors not
limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and
licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for
merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at
or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions
are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
