Job Description:
At ManTech, an esteemed leader in delivering technology
solutions for national security, we are seeking a skilled Technical
IT Project Manager to supervise and drive IT projects crucial to
our federal clients. This position requires adept management and
coordination skills to handle the complexities of advanced
technology projects within the defense and intelligence sectors.
The role demands a blend of technical acuity, team leadership, and
a steadfast commitment to safeguarding national interests through
innovative and efficient project execution. Define project scope,
goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and
stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated
communications documents. Effectively communicate project
expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear
fashion. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve
project goals. Set and continually manage project expectations with
team members and other stakeholders. Plan, schedule and track
project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Delegate
tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and
manage project dependencies and critical path. Implement project
changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Expertise in
project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Experience with project management software tools (MS Project,
JIRA, Confluence). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and
decision-making capabilities. Superb risk management and change
management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile project management
certifications preferred.
