I am seeking a Sr Systems Network Engineer to be based in Herndon VA. Working in a team of 4. My client is a main player in their field with 3200 employees across US and Canada with 230 locations, in 33 States and are publicly traded on the NYSE.

Five or more years? experience in supporting solutions in client-server, mid-range and/or enterprise server computing environments.

Brief Description of Job Duties:

Develop, enhance and leverage your leadership and project management skills by participating on large, medium, or small project teams focused on delivering business solutions that positively impact the bottom line.

Perform hardware and software installations in accordance with corporate standards. Manage the hardware and software inventory within the data center.

Deliver exceptional customer service through evaluating and responding to production system problems and questions. This includes remote troubleshooting and traveling between offices for on-site support when necessary.

Participate in the license tracking and annual maintenance renewal process on hardware and software. Participate in the development of the fiscal IT CapEx budget.

Keep current on new technologies and staff productivity tools.

Five or more years? experience in developing, optimizing and supporting a corporate technical infrastructure including but not limited to Server and Network Management, and Disaster Recovery planning and testing. Relevant and specific experience in many or all of the following is a plus:

VMware ESXi 5.1 to include vCenter and SRM

Cisco UCS

EMC Data Domain

EMC SAN (VNX 5300 and Unisphere, RecoverPoint)

Cisco network infrastructure management and administration

Nexus 7000 series

ASA 5500 and 5500-X series

MS Exchange 2010

• MS SQL Server

• VoIP

• Citrix

• BES Enterprise Server
