Job Description Door Assemblers Automation Personnel Services is looking for Door Assemblers for a company based in Elkwood, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills within a team?focused operation that supports long?term career development in the industrial and logistics field. Pay Rate 1st shift: $14.00 per hour, based on experience PLUS monthly bonus payout 2nd shift: $14.50 per hour, based on experience PLUS monthly bonus payout Schedule and Hours 1st shift Monday-Thursday; 5:00am-3:30pm 2nd shift Monday-Thursday; 3:30pm-2:00am Door Assemblers Duties and Responsibilities •. Assembling door components put together parts such as frames, panels, glass inserts, hinges, and locks according to specifications. • Reading and interpreting blueprints follow technical drawings, work orders, and measurements to ensure accurate assembly. • Always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly. Door Assemblers Qualifications and Requirements • Ability to use hand and power tools (drills, saws, nail guns, etc.) • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. • Strong attendance and punctuality to support daily production needs. • Basic carpentry and mechanical skills • Knowledge of measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares) • Capability to lift heavy materials (often 25–75 lbs) Job Type Full-time, temp-to-hire Benefits • Weekly Pay • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance • 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours • 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401(k) matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
