Job Description:

MedStar Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization in the DMV area, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home care team in Prince George's County. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with physical therapists and patients in home settings, implementing treatment plans and improving patients' quality of life. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care tailored to the needs of our community, and we are looking for a professional who shares our passion for making a difference through patient-first healthcare. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families about health programs and maintenance. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to all company policies and health regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physical demands of patient assistance. Proficiency in documenting and reporting treatment outcomes. Knowledge of basic healthcare safety guidelines. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR certification preferred.
