Job Description:
Join HCA Healthcare as a Registered Nurse in our Pre-operative
Department and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional
pre-surgical care to patients. Our dedicated team focuses on
preparing patients for surgery by performing critical assessments
and ensuring optimal outcomes. This position requires a
detail-oriented and compassionate approach, in line with our
mission to improve human life by delivering outstanding medical
care across our expansive network. Assess patient health status and
readiness for surgery. Coordinate with surgical teams to plan
pre-operative care. Administer medications and maintain detailed
patient records. Educate patients and families about surgical
procedures and postoperative care requirements. Monitor patient
vitals and recovery, identifying any necessary interventions.
Strong clinical skills in a surgical setting Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage stress and
make quick decisions Proficient in using healthcare software for
patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
applicable state. BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart
Association.
