MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PRN) to join our dynamic team, providing high quality care in the DMV region. In this role, you will develop customized patient therapies, monitor progress, and adapt treatments to improve patients' health and mobility. Evaluate the patient's physical condition to diagnose problems and set achievable goals. Create comprehensive treatment plans involving exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions. Regularly reassess patient progress and adapt plans as needed. Consult and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises. Maintain patient records and comply with all clinical and administrative protocols. Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and techniques. Ability to perform patient evaluations and create effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice. BLS/CPR certification.
