As an Intensivist, you’ll work alongside trusted colleagues to deliver exceptional care and help shape outcomes that matter for patients and the community. We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional care during nighttime hours. Local Team Collaboration: Become part of a cohesive and long-standing Intensivist team at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital Work alongside an experienced team of board-certified Critical Care physicians and experienced Critical Care APPs to care for the sickest patients Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine Successful completion of critical care medicine fellowship in the United States Documented ECMO experience Authorized to work in the United States Scheduling: 12-hour night shifts in the Cardiovascular ICU Minimum of 5-7 night shifts per month Key Responsibilities: Your focus will be on patients in the 16-bed Cardiovascular ICU and backup to the 20-bed medical/surgical/neuro ICU We work in EPIC, with access to our own internal informatics platform Living and Working in Richmond: Richmond is one of the country’s fastest-growing communities and offers residents the convenience and culture of a metropolitan lifestyle as well as endless recreational options.
