Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Elkins, WV Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare Embark on a rewarding opportunity to provide top-tier obstetrics and gynecology care at a leading Level IV trauma hospital. As an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive labor and delivery services, supporting a diverse patient population in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise will ensure safe, compassionate, and expert care for women throughout their pregnancy and gynecological needs, contributing significantly to patient outcomes and staff collaboration. Required Skills: Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid state medical license (IMLC or temporary accepted) DEA certification BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in obstetrics/gynecology Proficiency in comprehensive labor and delivery procedures Ability to handle 10-15 call patients per week Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Paragon EMR Additional certifications or specialized training in maternal-fetal medicine Prior experience in a Level IV trauma or tertiary care hospital Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 1 year of recent obstetrics/gynecology practice Experience in a hospital environment supporting labor and delivery teams Other Requirements: Night shift coverage (Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Willingness to obtain licensure via IMLC or with a temporary license Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification maintenance Ability to work 5x24-hour call shifts per month Willingness to support staff such as OR and L&D teams This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in women’s health while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
