Job Description PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel - Must live 50 miles away - Shift: 3 x 12s Days or Nights on IMC Requirements: - NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required - BSN - Highly desired - Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required - Med/Surg Tele Experience - Required: 2 Years - Cerner Experience - Required - RN Experience - Required: 2 Years - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required "Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. * Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. * Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care. * Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs * Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients * Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation * Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation * Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures" About PRN Healthcare Our story starts with a 21-year-old CNA named Pete Hietpas.
