Job Description:

MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare organization, is looking for a dedicated PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on providing exceptional speech and language therapy services on an as-needed basis in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to improving patient communication abilities and quality of life, utilizing the latest therapeutic techniques and custom treatment plans. Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Implement personalized treatment plans to meet individual patient needs Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic patient care Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients and families about communication strategies and therapies Proven expertise in diagnostic evaluations and speech therapy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work flexibly across different settings Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech Language Pathology ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
