Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred; first-time travelers accepted License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Charge experience preferred; ability to float within the specialty and lower acuity as needed Description: Seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for night shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcomed. The position involves caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses will include MS/Tele and Med/Surg-Oncology. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with telemetry monitoring and various medical conditions. Every other weekend and holidays are required as scheduled. Travelers will float within the hospital as needed. Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions. Skills required include telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and IV management. Documentation experience with an electronic charting system is preferred. Must demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. Candidates will provide wound care, administer blood products, and manage various medical equipment.
