7AM - 7PM = Location: Alexandria, LA = Schedule: 3x12s | 13-Week
Contract = Start Date: ASAP = Work Type: Full-Time | Travel
Assignment Position Summary We are seeking a competent and
experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care
team for a travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The RN will
practice independently in a dynamic clinical environment, providing
both routine and complex patient care while effectively managing
patient needs and clinical priorities. Nurse-to-Patient Ratio 5:1
6:1 , depending on staffing levels Key Responsibilities Provide
safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope
and Standards of Practice Utilize the nursing process to assess,
diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Administer
medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for
effectiveness and side effects Address complex psychological,
emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Accurately document patient history, assessments, interventions,
and outcomes Educate patients and families by identifying learning
needs, issues, and available resources Delegate and assign tasks
appropriately to support staff to ensure optimal patient care
Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and sound clinical
judgment in managing changing patient conditions Meet expectations
of applicable One * Competencies (Leader of Self / Others)
Requirements Licenses & Certifications Active RN License in the
state of employment or compact state BLS Certification (required)
Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical or related nursing
specialty (preferred) Additional Details Weekend Requirement: Yes,
based on scheduling needs On-Call Requirement: None Floating:
