Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing tailored therapy services. This position requires a passionate individual eager to collaborate with physical therapists in developing treatment plans and implementing therapy interventions for patients across diverse medical settings. Assist physical therapists in the planning and implementation of patient therapy programs. Observe and document patient responses to treatment and report specific findings to the supervising therapist. Help manage patient mobility and physical therapy activities to ensure correct technique and safety. Communicate with patients and their families, educating them about treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. Maintain equipment and treatment areas, ensuring a safe and clean environment. Participate in patient assessments and team meetings to review progress and update treatment plans accordingly. Ability to adhere to local regulations and safety standards in therapy practices. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare staff. Knowledge in the use of therapeutic exercise equipment and techniques. Basic understanding of patient management software systems. 401k Current valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). CPR certified.
