Job Description:
Agape Care Group is seeking a dedicated Spiritual Care
Coordinator to join our compassionate team, serving patients across
the Southeast in hospice and palliative care settings. This role is
pivotal in providing emotional and spiritual support tailored to
the diverse needs of patients and their families during critical
life moments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding
of the interplay between emotional, spiritual, and physical health,
and will be committed to fostering peace and providing comfort in
close alignment with our mission. Assess the spiritual needs of
patients and their families and provide appropriate interventions
and support. Develop and implement individualized care plans in
collaboration with the healthcare team. Coordinate and conduct
spiritual and supportive counseling and therapy sessions.
Facilitate communication between patients, family members, and
medical staff regarding spiritual care. Organize and lead religious
or spiritual rituals, services, and prayers as needed. Maintain
meticulous records of patient interactions, assessments, and
spiritual care plans. Provide training and guidance to staff and
volunteers on providing spiritual care in a hospice and palliative
setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
provide spiritual guidance and support in a respectful and
non-denominational manner Experience in crisis intervention and
patient counseling Skilled at planning, leading, and facilitating
group sessions and spiritual rituals Medical Insurance Dental

Chaplain (BCC) by the Association of Professional Chaplains
Certification in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
