Job Description /n/n/n/n/n/n Neonatal APP: Neonatal Nurse
Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant /n/n Johns
Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC), Baltimore, MD /n/n /nAs
part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) system, Johns Hopkins
Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) features a 26-bed Level III NICU and
serves as a regional perinatal center in southeast Baltimore City.
Our NICU cares for infants from 23 weeks gestational age and above,
addressing a wide range of neonatal pathologies and complexities
while providing a full spectrum of respiratory support devices
including bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, ventilator, and
inhaled nitric oxide. As a provider in our NICU, you will attend
high-risk deliveries, care for NICU patients, and be a member of
our Pediatric Code Team while also having the opportunity to engage
in research, education, mentoring, and patient safety intiatives.

healthcare provider, the NNP/APP will: /n• Take medical histories
and perform physical examinations /n• Order and interpret
laboratory tests /n• Perform procedures including intubations,
ventilator management, central line placements, thoracentesis,
thoracostomy, exchange transfusions, lumbar punctures, suprapubic
taps /n• Prescribe controlled and non-controlled substances and
perform intraosseous (IO) procedures /n /nShifts: /n• Full-time, 36
hours per week /n• Rotating day and night shifts /n• Weekends and
holidays required /n/n /nQualifications: /n• MSN/DNP from an
accredited nursing program or equivalent training for Physician
Assistants • Active Maryland RN and Neonatal CRNP licenses or
appropriate Physician Assistant certifications /n• BLS, CPR, and
NRP certifications /n• For new graduate NNPs: 3 years of NICU RN
experience required; Physician Assistants considered based on
training and relevant work experience /n• Active Maryland CDS and

$58.60/hour - Maximum $????90.83/hour. Compensation will be
commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope
