Pay Information $1,957 per week About The Position Job Title: Postpartum Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Postpartum nursing License: Valid state license required, DC or MD as applicable Certifications: Current certifications as required for role Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in postpartum nursing - Experience in newborn and maternal care - Preferred previous charge experience Description: We are seeking a Postpartum Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves caring for mothers and newborns in the postpartum period. The nurse will provide maternal and newborn care, including some GYN post-surgery patients. Responsibilities will include performing newborn lab testing, hearing screens, and congenital heart testing. Every other weekend availability is required. This position does not require on-call duties. Candidates must have a valid state license in hand at the time of submission. Preferred candidates will have experience working nights and in a similar environment. References from two supervisors are required for application.
