Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics Burke-Fairfax VA MUST: Nurse Practitioner Family Nurse Practitioner (1)+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Must have experience with infants and pediatrics Experience with first infant appointments Performing clinical exams Administering injections and vaccinations Prior outpatient pediatric clinic experience Must be board certified as a Nurse Practitioner Family Nurse Practitioner who has seen peds including infants Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of VA DUTIES: The Duties of the Family -Peds Nurse Practitioner include but are not limited to the following: Health maintenance care, including well-child exams and childhood immunizations Handle first appointments for infants Perform clinical exams and procedures Routine developmental screenings Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses Education and counseling of children and their families on issues related to health Caring for children who have acute, chronic, and critical illnesses Conducting advanced physical assessments Interpreting lab and diagnostic test results *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
