Job Description:

cFocus Software is seeking a Task Manager to join our program supporting the US Department of Transportation in Washington, DC.Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 10+ years of Task Management experienceDuties:
  • Manage Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Helpdesk support.
  • Coordinate with DOT Federal/Contractor teams to resolve customer Helpdesk requests.
  • Oversee specific tasks or activities within a project or program.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule and quality standards.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful task completion.
  • Prepare and update Project Management Plans.
  • Provide Weekly/Bi-weekly Status Reports.
  • Generate Ad Hoc Status Reports.
  • Monthly Project Cost Reporting.
  • Sprint Schedule Reporting.
  • Earned Value Management Reporting, where appropriate.
  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings.
  • Assist in the development of a Risk Mitigation Plan.
  • Create and manage the Project Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Create and manage the Project Risk Register.
  • Provide information as needed for information security solutions and certification.
  • Assist in annual security assessment inquiries in coordination with the Government.
  • Analyze issues to determine resolutions and communicate with customers and users.
  • Update user manuals, videos, and other training and support materials as needed.
  • Interface with business owners for assistance with system and reporting as needed.
  • Interface with DOT ITSS and other DOT service providers to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monthly reporting on O&M activities.
