for a SrManager, Contracts to support our Cyber and Intelligence
Solutions Business UnitSeeking a motivated self-starter who can
work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic
environmentResponsibilities: The primary responsibility of this
position is to manage a small group of dedicated contracts
professionals located in Hanover, Maryland which will require
periodic travel to both Severn, Maryland and to our Headquarters in
Herndon, VAThe individual will report directly to the Director of
ContractsThis position will also require the individual to access
high-side communications on a regular basis, while also ensuring
that all customer required training(s) are completed timely to
ensure that uninterrupted high-side access is
maintainedAdditionally, this position will also administer, extend,
negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts, task
orders and subsequent amendmentsIndividual will also conduct
proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract
administration, and customer contract activities to provide for
proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with
Company policies, legal requirements, and customer
specificationsIndividual will also prepare bids; advise management
of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data;
and maintain historical informationIndividual will also monitor
company performance for conformance to original proposal and
maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions
are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal
requirements, customer specifications, and government
regulationsIndividual will also prepare and disseminate information
throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance,
modification, deviation, negotiation, and terminationIndividual
will initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in
accordance with contractual specificationsIndividual will maintain
contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control
of all contract correspondence, customer contact information
sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for
all projectsParticipation in teaming agreement and strategic
marketing alliance negotiations between company and outside sources
is also expectedIndividual should possess a strong work ethic and
ability to effectively work independently in a fast-paced,
high-pressure environment with limited supervisionHere's what
you'll need:--- Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 years of
progressive relevant experience.--- TS/SCI with Poly--- Existing
working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and other
bodies of law affecting government contracts highly preferred.---
Excellent command of English grammar with strong verbal and written
communication skills is required.--- Proficiency with standard
Microsoft Office software, i.eWord and Excel.--- Possess the
aptitude to adjust to competing priorities when needed.--- Possess
superb organizational and interpersonal written and oral
communication skillsTo include but not limited to, the ability to
professionally compose, edit, and proofread a variety of internal
and external business correspondence, contracts, proposals, and
management reports is essential.--- Must be a team player within
the contracts team, as well as cross-functionally with other
departmentsWork Environment: General Office environmentThe work
environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves deadline
pressuresThe nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork
and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as
individuals across the CompanyEquipment & Machines: General office
equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers,
Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipmentAttendance:---
Attendance is always criticalMust be able to work a 40-hour
workweek, normally Monday through FridayHowever, times and days may
vary depending on business requirementsNeeds to be available to
work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last
minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.--- Must be
able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.---
Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity

with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally
