Guidehouse is seeking to add talented managers to our growing public sector transportation team! These professionals will serve our federal clients with mission-specific projects that allow for direct client experiences as well as the opportunity to support, own, and drive business development to allow for career progression and future challenging project assignments. Much of our current work relates to safety, civil rights, and environmental matters associated with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, a once-in-a-generation investment in the nation's infrastructure. - We are leading efforts around policy and rulemaking, standing up new programs, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of existing programs. The professionals we seek will be team-oriented, dedicated, and adaptable individuals with a desire for development, growth, and success. -Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop operating concepts, operations models, and governance models
  • Facilitate client meetings, interviews or work groups
  • Work collaboratively in a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Work with diverse stakeholder to drive towards consensus
  • Lead the development of work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client implementation
  • Develop business process improvements to existing programs
  • Provide change management recommendations to clients
  • Develop communications and executive presentations for audiences such as agency leadership, the White House, and Congress
  • Maintain project budgets and budget forecasts
  • Manage senior-level client relationships
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
  • Support business development and proposal efforts

    • 6 years of strategy & operations experience
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel
    • Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions apply.Preferred:
      • Project Management Professional (PMP)
      • Experience in federal consulting
      • Experience with transformational programs
      • Experience working with federal, state, or local transportation organizations
