Job Description:
This Position is Subject to Contract Award JANUS Research Group
is currently seeking an Aviation Enablers SSO for a contract to
support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the
principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and
the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and
Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning,
Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8
coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition,
Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming
and process recommendations related to ongoing and future
acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The
DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program
funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization
enterprise. Position Description: Supports aviation enabler
programs including mission command systems, unmanned aircraft
systems (UAS), sensors, power generation, and maintenance support
equipment. Provides analytical and technical expertise on
capability integration, sustainment, and modernization planning.
Develops information papers, SPAR/POM inputs, and briefings
addressing cost, risk, and operational effectiveness. Coordinates
with ASA(ALT), T2COM, PEO Aviation, and ARSTAF to ensure aviation
enablers are synchronized with platform modernization and
sustainment objectives. Relevant Competencies / Skill Levels: A
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business A minimum of four
(4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
Demonstrates expert analytical and technical skills in aviation
enabler systems, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), mission
equipment, sensors, and maintenance support technologies.
Proficient in evaluating interoperability, sustainment, and
modernization impacts across aviation platforms and mission
systems. Possesses advanced analytical and communication abilities
to deliver clear, data-driven assessments that enhance aviation
