* Establishing overall strategic network standards, priorities, and provide documentation
* Support Network refresh efforts
* Ability to produce and present Network design solutions, to include implementation--- Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 hands-on configuration of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, with emphasis on dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF and other technologies
* Ability to provide Network troubleshooting at a Tier3/Tier4 level of support
* Providing technical guidance and direction as it relates to networking designs and architectures
* Familiarity of data center infrastructure and technologies using and experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
* Providing high-level technical advice and guidance to managers and technical resources on network technologies to meet current and future organizational needs.
* Identifying INFOSEC security requirements for the networkPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills--- Experience with a variety of network technologies and architectures
* Broad understanding of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the networking field.
* Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts
* In depth working knowledge of MPLS, TCP/IP, VPN, and IP telephony.
* Experience with and understanding of Network Architectures
* In-depth understanding of peering, QoS and traffic engineering
* Cloud service provider experience (AWS (VPC, transit gateway, private link, ELB, etc), Azure (connectivity services - Vnet, virtual WAN, VPN gateway, application protection, application delivery and network monitoring, etc), etc.) Oracle, and GOOGLE
* Security best practices for firewalls and perimeter security measures including VPN technologies.
* Continuous integration, test automation and / or SecDevOps on iterative development projects
* Agile Development methodologies Pay Information
