Rivermont Schools, a leader in personalized special education, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing tailored educational plans that foster a nurturing learning environment specifically for students with special needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a transformative impact in the lives of our students, employing innovative teaching strategies and maintaining an inclusive, engaging classroom that encourages learning and personal growth. Design and implement personalized education plans (PEPs) for each student Continuously assess student progress and adjust educational plans accordingly Create inclusive classroom activities that cater to a variety of learning needs and disabilities Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrative staff to maximize student outcomes Maintain records of students' progress and challenges Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current on special education best practices and legal requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in creating and executing individualized education plans Ability to engage students with various learning and physical disabilities Experience in behavioral management and conflict resolution Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State Teaching Certification in Special Education First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
