Job Description:
Shamrock Foods Company, a leading family-owned distributor of
food products and restaurant supplies since 1922, is seeking a
skilled Utility Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering &
Maintenance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective
operation and upkeep of our utility systems, which support our
mission of delivering top-tier quality and value to our customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the utility
equipment and systems, adhering to safety standards, and helping to
minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Perform routine and
emergency maintenance on all utility systems, including electrical,
water, and HVAC. Diagnose issues and repair equipment, minimizing
downtime and disruptions to operations. Adhere to health and safety
policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs.
Assist in the implementation of new equipment and systems. Work
closely with other team members to meet departmental goals.
Proficiency in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Strong
problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical
diagrams and manuals. Effective communication and teamwork
abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k HVAC certification preferred. Electrician or
plumbing certification is a plus.
