Job Description:
Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC (“ACM”) is seeking a residential
mortgage Compliance Specialist to support the company’s commitment
to regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and operational
integrity . This role will help ensure company-wide adherence to
corporate policies and regulatory requirements by maintaining
appropriate documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating
timely testing of internal controls. The Compliance Specialist will
assist in conducting internal compliance reviews to ensure that
appropriate controls are in place. This position will work closely
with internal teams to monitor the consistency of compliance
practices across the organization. Responsibilities: Review
mortgage loan files for quality and compliance with federal and
state-specific mortgage rules and regulations. Assist with
additional tasks related to vendor management, appraiser panel
monitoring, exam-related documentation, consumer complaint
statuses, and advertising and social media reviews. Provide support
in responding to compliance-related inquiries submitted to the
Compliance Department. Qualifications: Basic computer proficiency,
including familiarity with common hardware and software. Basic
proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Experience with the
Encompass/ICE loan origination system. Ability to quickly learn and
apply compliance and regulatory analytical processes. Strong
organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of
information and documentation. Strong attention to detail with the
ability to identify discrepancies or errors. Ability to manage high
workloads, shifting priorities, and deadlines. Excellent written
and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with mortgage-related
regulations (SAFE Act, UDAAP, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, CFPB, and
state mortgage disclosure) is a plus. Experience with mortgage
marketing and advertising preferred. ACM promotes an Equal
