we serve with integrity and excellence.Job Purpose:The NDT
Technician is responsible for performing inspections, primarily
ultrasonic, utilizing a variety of non-destructive testing methods
on company aircraft and components.Responsibilities: Execute the
tests using the procedures and methods to determine maximum quality
of the product Perform inspection duties, organize, and generate
reports pertaining to inspection and evaluation Prepare reports on
all testing and evaluations to the appropriate department Ensure
that the equipment used for testing is functioning correctly and in
accordance with all applicable safety regulations Perform daily
system performance tests on equipment to ensure compliance with NDT
standards Interpret and perform cleaning procedures prior to NDT
Inspections Additional duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications:
Experience with aircraft related NDT (ultrasonic required) Must be
able to provide documented proof of previous training and
qualification to meet the requirements on NAS 410 level II in the
following methods: Ultrasonic (required) Fluorescent Penetrant
(preferred) Eddy Current (preferred) Magnetic Particle (preferred)
2-5 years + experience working in manufacturing/maintenance
facilities FAA A&P License is required High School education or
GED required; some college is preferred Ability to read and
comprehend written materials, write legibly, and perform basic math
calculations accurately Strong attention to detail Ability to:
Crawl in and out of tight spaces Comfortably work at elevated
heights of at least 40 feet for extended periods of time Lift,
balance and carry up to 25 lbs. Work in enclosed hangars and
